Hi there, I'm Angela, an artist from Inverness, Scotland.

Nature is an endless source of inspiration to me. From stormy skies to wild seas, from rugged hills to fluffy bog cotton, from intricate ferns to the carpet of fallen blossom leaves, beauty is all around.

Wee Norrag has been my creative outlet since 2012 following the birth of my son. I would work with textiles, primarily Harris Tweed, to create gifts and homewares whilst my son had his afternoon nap. I named my business Wee Norrag as norrag is the Gaelic word for a wee snooze.

My recent work aims to bring the outside in, bringing the patterns from nature into peoples’ homes, to remind us of the often overlooked beauty and energy that surrounds us in nature.
