Paula Deas is a local artist who is based in Carnoustie.

Her work is heavily inspired by the sea along the East Coast of Scotland.

She works mainly with oils on canvas and likes to explore mark making with her palette knives and paint brushes.

She creates moody landscapes and seascapes which capture the movement of the sea and it's atmospheric reflections.

The work Paula exhibits at HAYM is of our local beaches from Easthaven to Barry so should be recognisable to many.
