Carol Sinclair is a ceramic artist and maker based in Forfar, Angus.

Since graduating from Grays School of Art in Aberdeen, her practice has developed from tile making to creating forms and vessels with porcelain and paper clay.

Her work is hand built using slabs of clay which are rolled, cut or shaped around forms, using her signature inlay technique to add colour.  She creates installations for exhibition,
one-off pieces, limited edition collections and jewellery.

Inspiration comes from Carol’s living and working environment, and especially the beautiful rolling hills and spectacular coastline of Angus.

Carol has been running her
ceramics studio for more than 30 years and has exhibited across the UK and
internationally.  She has created collections for Historic Scotland, Scottish Gallery of Modern Art and National Museum of Scotland, and her commissions include a tv show and cruise liner and a ski resort
